It is the first portable device in the world that allows users to convert any photos into wearable cosmetics, Mink, a 3-D cosmetics printer, is officially pre-ordered.

It has been debugged and developed for many years. It is the first portable device in the world that allows users to convert any photos into wearable cosmetics. Mink, a 3D cosmetics printer, formally accepts pre-purchase.

Mink comes from the combination of "makeup" and "ink". Its concept and prototype were released by Grace Choi, co-founder and Harvard-educated Asian beauty, at the TechCrunch Disrupt Conference in 2014. In theory, Mink can easily customize colors and print out cosmetics products by using a complete set of 3D cosmetics printers and software, equipped with standard cosmetics basic materials and connected to any ordinary computer. The original prototype of Mink can only print eye shadow. The Mink printer, which weighs 2.2 pounds (998 grams) after repeated iterations, can be placed in a tote bag and can print 16.7 million different colors. Mink's website shows that the basic ingredients for cosmetics provided by the brand have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration of the United States.

Grace Choi said: "The content of cosmetics is getting farther and farther from traditional TV and print, and closer to digital. Users began to draw inspiration from pictures, which made it possible to use color data of pictures to convert them into physical cosmetics. Janet Kim, co-founder and President of NbspMink, said: "Today's consumers have higher expectations, not only for their lifestyle, but also for the way and place of purchase."

The latest version of Mink only uploads photos using relevant apps, whether from the Internet, mobile photo albums or social platforms, and then chooses to print a single color or all the colors in the picture. Then put a piece of Mink's cosmetic film into the printer's printing box and send out the printing instructions. Wait 15 seconds to get a slice of light, portable cosmetics, and each printed cosmetics can be stored for two weeks. Mink also specializes in introducing a protective film to prevent powder from touching other places.

This is Mink's first open pre-purchase since its launch. A small amount of equipment will be sold for $295 per unit. The delivery time is expected to be autumn 2020.
