Wood was awarded a new contract with Sinochem

On March 28, Wood acquired a new contract from Quanzhou Petrochemical Company, Sinochem, to provide engineering services for its 1 million tons/year ethylene and oil refining reconstruction and expansion projects in Fujian Province, southeastern China. Under the new contract, Wood will provide EPCM and project management services to the off-site utility part of the project, covering chemical processes and thermal pipe networks, plant-wide power supply and road lighting systems and other related units. Dave Stewart, CEO of Wood Asset Solutions, Eurasia, Africa and Australia, said: "This new contract demonstrates our close cooperation with Sinochem and Sinochem Group's confidence in Wood's EPCM capability and experience in implementing large-scale integration projects.
