Wood was awarded a new contract with Sinochem

On March 28, Wood acquired a new contract from Quanzhou Petrochemical Company, Sinochem, to provide engineering services for its 1 million tons/year ethylene and oil refining reconstruction and expansion projects in Fujian Province, southeastern China. Under the new contract, Wood will provide EPCM and project management services to the off-site utility part of the project, covering chemical processes and thermal pipe networks, plant-wide power supply and road lighting systems and other related units. Dave Stewart, CEO of Wood Asset Solutions, Eurasia, Africa and Australia, said: "This new contract demonstrates our close cooperation with Sinochem and Sinochem Group's confidence in Wood's EPCM capability and experience in implementing large-scale integration projects. We look forward to the safe and sustainable implementation of this important contract. We are very honored to further enhance our leading position and contribute to the growing development of Sinopec industry.
