According to reports, Cargill's FR3 natural esters Yangjiang plant is Cargill's first FR3 plant in China. The plant covers an area of 6,000 square meters and has an investment of 50 million yuan. The first phase of the project has been put into production, with an estimated annual production capacity of 15,000 tons. The FR3 natural ester produced is a transformer insulating oil made from natural plant seeds, which is also a sustainable innovation of Cargill in the biological industry. The raw materials of this product are 100% renewable, the carbon emission is only about 1.8% of conventional mineral oil, and the load capacity of the transformer can be optimized, which is more economical, efficient, safe and environmentally friendly.
