Control! 8,731 Chemical Plants 'Closed And Reformed'
In recent years, environmental protection inspectors have become stricter, and under the continuous pressure of environmental protection policies and safety control, more and more enterprises choose to actively or passively close factories due to their own reasons or other reasons. It is not new. The pace of shutting down and banning chemical enterprises with high energy consumption and high pollution is still accelerating. At present, a total of 8,731 chemical enterprises in the Yangtze River Economic Belt have been closed, relocated, and relocated. The major chemical provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang have also issued many documents to clarify the period from 2022 to 2025. By the end of the year, the number of chemical companies and parks will be reduced. The recent stop of a large number of paint companies in Jiayu Industrial Park is like a "fuse", which has ignited the anxiety of many paint companies for the future survival and development.
OEM companies are on fire
Temporary stops can't beat a company, but repeated and indefinite stops make the company's development path full of thorns. At this time, coating companies began to look for OEM companies to cooperate. Recently, the business department of the coating procurement network has received frequent calls for help. Companies in Shanghai, Guangdong, Hubei, Shandong and other places are looking for OEM or providing factory leasing and OEM services.
1
Shanghai is looking for an OEM factory, water-based alkyd paint: 20-30 tons per month, regardless of region, priority is to choose East China and Southwest China. Oil-based alkyd paint, with an average of 50-60 tons per month, preferably in East China and South Central. Nitro lacquer, respectively used for: wood furniture, handicrafts, 60 tons per month, Fujian, Zhejiang.
2
Shanghai is looking for industrial paint processing, 200 tons a month, 500 tons a month in the later period, oil-based paint.
3
Foshan, Guangdong and Wuhan, Hubei are looking for OEM factories, with a monthly processing capacity of more than 300 tons, general industrial powder and profile powder.
4
Looking for an epoxy powder processing plant for pipes, with an annual processing capacity of about 3,000 tons.
5
OEM coating factory, mainly produces emulsion, waterproof coating, floor paint products, with a production capacity of 400-500 tons/month.
6
Processing 300 tons of real stone paint on behalf of the project, the project is 200 kilometers away from Haikou, Hainan.
7
A chemical enterprise in Shandong produces three polyester resin reactors with an annual output of 10,000 tons. Five powder equipment with an annual output of 3,000 tons. Land real estate (land, workshop), environmental impact assessment, sewage permit, safety, fire protection and other procedures and facilities are complete.
...
In addition to the helpless situation caused by the shutdown and production suspension, many paint companies have expired licenses but the renewal procedures are cumbersome, and even due to policy updates and the impact of the epidemic, the handling of various formalities of the company will affect the normal production and operation rhythm of the company, which is also inappropriate. Reasons why few companies choose OEM.
So what can OEM processing bring? The first is to reduce the occupation of production funds, and do not need to rent factories and purchase equipment by themselves, reducing the risk of expanding the market. Secondly, the layout of the downstream coating industry in China is relatively concentrated, so it is better to find a local OEM for direct production and sales, rather than producing it in the place where the company is registered and then transporting it to the area where the downstream companies are concentrated. The transportation cost is high.
From the perspective of the distribution of my country's coatings industry chain, coating companies are generally distributed in the eastern coastal areas such as Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, followed by Anhui, Henan, Hebei, Fujian and other regions. That is to say, paint companies are generally located in areas where downstream industries are concentrated. For example, powder coatings for aluminum profiles are commonly found in Foshan, Guangdong, and Linqu, Shandong, the capital of aluminum industry; powder coatings for steel furniture are mostly found in Pangcun, Luoyang, Henan, the capital of steel furniture. This also explains why coating companies are densely distributed in the above areas, and OEM processing often occurs.
