Grasp World Economic Direction and Promote the Perfection of Global Governance

From June 27 to 29, President Xi Jinping will go to Osaka, Japan, to attend the 14th Summit of Leaders of the Group of Twenty (G20). President Xi Jinping will elaborate his views on the world economic situation in depth at the G20 Osaka Summit. China will work with all parties to firmly safeguard multilateralism, cooperate in dealing with major issues related to the prospects for world economic growth and the global economic governance pattern, seek common development and build a community of human destiny. In the current turbulent international situation, the international community looks forward to listening to the "voice of China". The G20 Summit is about to open up under the world's attention of grasping the direction of the world economy. President Xi Jinping attended or presided over the G20 Summit for the seventh time in a row, which fully reflects the great importance China attaches to G20 cooperation and global economic governance. President Xi Jinping will attend the plenary session of the four stages of the Summit and participate in discussions on the world economy and trade, digital economy, inclusive and sustainable development, infrastructure, climate, energy and environment. At present, unilateralism and protectionism have seriously impacted the international economic order, and the risks and uncertainties facing the world economy have increased significantly. As the world's second largest economy and the largest developing country, China's position has attracted much attention. At the G20 Summit, President Xi Jinping will elaborate his views on the world economic situation in depth, devote himself to finding the root causes of the current problems, setting the right pulse, opening up a good prescription and grasping the general direction of the world economy. China's wisdom and contribution are clearly demonstrated at the G20 Summit and in the process of world economic development. In 2013, Xi Jinping attended the G20 Summit for the first time, calling for the firm maintenance and development of an open world economy. In the past six years, Xi Jinping has repeatedly expounded his important proposals at the G20 Summit: to carry forward the spirit of cooperation and win-win partnership, improve global economic and financial governance, safeguard the multilateral trading system, build an open world economy, and promote strong, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth of the world economy.
Pierre Picard, a professor at the Eighth University of Paris in France and an expert on China, said that the concept of sustainable development advocated by Chairman Xi focused on the long-term development of human beings and showed that China's great power undertaking would help build a better future for the community of human destiny.
China has long made important contributions to promoting world economic growth, improving global governance and addressing risks and challenges, and has played a constructive role as a responsible power. Zhang Yansheng, chief researcher of the China Center for International Economic Exchange, said that China played a central role in the recovery of the world economy. Since the international financial crisis, China has contributed up to 30% to world economic growth for many years, and has become the main stabilizer and power source of the global economy. Therefore, the international community looks forward to hearing the "voice of China". It is an important expectation of the world for the G20 Osaka Summit that Likeda people promote the improvement of global governance and achieve positive results in the improvement of global governance. The "China Program" will bring important answers to global issues. At the Osaka Summit of the G20, China will work with all parties to firmly safeguard multilateralism, maintain an international order based on international law and maintain international fairness and justice; firmly grasp the correct orientation of the G20, adhere to the spirit of partnership, strengthen policy coordination and maintain solidarity and cooperation; jointly respond to global challenges and promote responsible and constructive attitude of all parties to cooperate in dealing with the world at stake. Economic growth prospects and major issues of global economic governance pattern seek common development and build a community of human destiny. Under the background of the rise of unilateralism and protectionism, China expects all parties to promote more consensus on important international economic and trade issues, namely, to constructively promote the necessary reform of the World Trade Organization, to build a free and open trade and investment policy environment, to strengthen practical cooperation in trade and investment, and to promote inclusive and sustainable growth. At the same time, in terms of macroeconomic policy and finance, China expects the G20 parties to further improve macroeconomic policy coordination, continue to affirm the central position of the International Monetary Fund in the global financial safety net, agree to strengthen financial supervision and cooperation, continue to affirm the importance of green finance to global economic growth, develop Inclusive Finance and promote inclusive economic growth.
The world today is experiencing unprecedented changes in a century. In recent years, China has constantly put forward important proposals on the common challenges facing the international community and aroused positive responses from the world. As President Xi Jinping pointed out, tackling the deficit, trust deficit, peace deficit and development deficit are the four major challenges facing the international community. In order to solve the "Four Big Deficits", China proposes to uphold fairness and rationality, mutual understanding and compromise, work together in a common boat and win-win situation, and work hand in hand to build a community of human destiny.
"China has assumed great responsibility on important issues of global governance." Morocco's former Minister of Economy and Finance and economist Fasala Vallalu said so. Make oneself a man, and be good to the world at the same time. China has always been a positive activist in safeguarding world peace and development. Yuri Tafrovsky, a professor at the Russian People's Friendship University, said that China's viewpoint is based on its rich experience and is a positive and long-term development concept urgently needed by the current human society. President Xi Jinping will attend informal BRICS Leaders'Meeting, China-Russia-India Leaders' Meeting and China-India Leaders'Meeting during the Osaka Summit of G20.
