With an investment of 31.6 billion yuan, Wanhua started work on another major project
On March 28th, Yantai's key projects were started centrally.
A total of 90 projects with a total investment of RMB 88.91 billion and an annual planned investment of RMB 16.85 billion were launched in the city.
The Wanhua New Materials Low Carbon Industrial Park, where the main venue is located, has a total investment of 238 billion yuan, with an estimated total output value of 300 billion yuan, and is an important pole of the trillion-grade high-end low-carbon new materials industrial base on the south coast of the Yellow Bohai Sea.
The first phase of Wanhua New Materials Low Carbon Industrial Project, which started construction, has a total investment of 31.6 billion yuan and is scheduled to be put into operation in 2024, with an annual output value of about 27 billion yuan and a profit tax of 5.5 billion yuan after completion, realizing the new zone of the Yellow Bohai Sea taking the lead in the province's four new zones.

According to the introduction, Wanhua New Materials Low Carbon Industrial Park project creates a high-end, green, large-scale and integrated integrated chemical park integrating petrochemicals, fine chemicals and new materials, which is one of the six provincial-level chemical parks in Yantai and the leading construction park of Yantai petrochemical and chemical new materials industry chain.
The overall planning of the park is 25 square kilometres, and 6.93 square kilometres have been approved with the support of Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.
It is the first chemical park to be approved by the provincial government to complete the expansion of the park after the identification of the chemical park in the province.
There are 10 chemical enterprises in production, such as German Con-Art, Yantai Anuoqi and Penglai Jiaxin, whose products mainly include thermal pressure-sensitive materials, biopharmaceuticals, disperse dyes, pharmaceutical intermediates, organic pigments, etc.
