Shanghai Walmart Supermarket Opens Caring Shopping Special

From March 30, all offline shops of Shanghai Walmart Supermarket will open half an hour earlier to open a special care shopping area, so as to alleviate the problem of elderly people and those with mobility difficulties in buying groceries, and customers in need can enter the special care buying area with their senior citizen cards and other relevant documents. At the same time, the shops are simultaneously opening special checkout lanes to enhance convenience.

"In comparison, they have limited mobility and the elderly are relatively less able to apply new technology.

To enable them to buy good food even during special times, we have opened a special service. It is safer for the elderly and the physically challenged as the shop has just been disinfected during the opening hours and there is relatively little traffic during the special session.
