Garbage Classification and Action in Rural Areas

"Waste classification concerns millions of households, not only the city to promote, but also the countryside to have action. According to the central decision-making, we should actively classify and dispose of rural domestic refuse in the process of promoting the improvement of rural human settlements. Recently, Li Weiguo, Director of Rural Social Promotion Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas, said at a press conference held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas.
Li Weiguo introduced that the problem of rural domestic refuse and the city are different, regardless of the composition and treatment methods have different characteristics. In recent years, it has mainly promoted the exploration of waste classification methods and disposal methods suitable for rural characteristics. At the same time, farmers have a tradition of sorting domestic waste since ancient times. For example, most rural households hand over recyclable waste to the waste recycling point and convert rotten waste into fertilizer in situ for use. With the change of production and life style, many rural areas adopt the way of "household classification, village collection, town transshipment and county treatment". The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas will organize experts to carry out special investigation and summarize the classification model of rural domestic waste in different regions, so as to provide a model for other regions of the country to learn and learn from.
