Three entrepreneurship keep in mind the mission of industry to serve the country

Standing before the remains of the megafossil calcium carbide industry, the reporter felt the special epochal significance of the calcium carbide furnace as the origin of arduous entrepreneurship. In retrospect of history, at the beginning of the founding of New China, Zhejiang's chemical industry foundation was very weak. In order to increase grain production, Comrade Jianghua, then the first Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, asked Chairman Mao Zedong to set up a fertilizer plant with an annual output of 10,000 tons. Chairman Mao said, "If we want to do it, we should make it bigger." So a blueprint for a large chemical plant began to be drawn. In response to the Party's call, the first generation of entrepreneurs of Juhua gathered from all sides of the motherland to Qiantangtuan, Quzhou, southwest of Jinqu Basin, relying on "two shoulders, two hands, one shoulder and one shovel", filling the gap of chemical industry in Zhejiang Province. At the beginning of 1990s, Gu Xiulian, then Minister of Chemical Industry, put forward that Juhua is going to come out of the mountain when she inspected Juhua. We should jump out of the western Zhejiang basin, carry out industrial layout for the whole country, create high-end excellent products, and go to the world. As a result, Juhua started its second venture. With the help of Zhejiang fluorite resources and the supporting advantages of Juhua's products, Juhua has rapidly built the earliest and largest fluorine chemical base in China, with fluorine chemical industry as the core and coal chemical industry and salt chemical industry as the support.

Entering the new century, Juhua started its third magnificent undertaking, opened a new round of industrial restructuring dominated by high-tech industries, vigorously nurtured new growth points such as electronic chemicals, functional materials, high-end equipment manufacturing, and expanded logistics and other productive services, with the goal of creating an economic benefit.
