One after another appeared to confirm the diagnosis

Crazy = closed

The epidemic backlash, cluster sealing control, logistics blocked, and see peak production! The chemical market is simply adding to the misery!

Nationwide epidemic, news of work stoppages continue

According to the epidemic map and information from the Health Commission, there are still 31 provinces and cities across the country that still have confirmed cases. Among them, the provinces that are heavily affected by the epidemic are Shandong, Shanghai and Jilin, followed by Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong. Shanghai saw 25,141 new asymptomatic cases and 1,189 confirmed cases in a single day.

Due to the severity of the epidemic and the rapid spread of the disease, many places in the country have initiated closure, prevention and control management measures and risk classification of the areas concerned.

Among them, the areas with strict closure and control include a number of major chemical provinces such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong. According to incomplete statistics, a total of 16 provinces have issued the latest information on the suspension of work and resumption of work.

People's lives and economies have been severely affected by the closure, and so has the chemical industry. The most affected by this round of the epidemic are Shanghai, Shandong and Jilin, the major provinces in the chemical industry.

Shanghai, as a key economic location in China, not only has the largest port in China, but also has the largest number of foreign-owned chemical parks in China being the Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park, which has globally renowned chemical companies such as Bayer, BASF, INVISTA, Mitsui Chemicals, Evonik, Cesar Chemicals, Lucite, Dow Chemical, etc. These companies, are all globally renowned chemical producers.

The outbreak has affected each region to varying degrees.

Under the epidemic prevention and control, strict management measures are being carried out in small communities, roads, transport and companies in the chemical industry, and it is a foregone conclusion that companies will stop work, production and transport. The epidemic prevention and control area covers more than 10,000 chemical companies, so it can be said that "half of the domestic chemical industry" has been affected.

Shutdown of work and production

(hereinafter referred to as Fluoropolymer) announced that in order to actively respond to and implement the relevant governmental policies on epidemic prevention and control, it has recently implemented a temporary suspension of work and production based on the current situation of the new crown epidemic in Shanghai.

Fluoropolymer's staff will continue to respond to major and emergency matters in the form of working from home, and the specific time to resume normal production and operation will be arranged according to the requirements of the local government's epidemic control.

On April 11, MSFL issued an announcement stating that the company had received notification from the relevant authorities that an employee of the company had been tested positive for the new coronavirus and that the company's personnel had been placed under epidemic control in accordance with the requirements for the prevention and control of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic in Hangzhou, and that the personnel within Block A and Block B of MSFL Building had been isolated and controlled.
