Bloomage Bio Acquired 51% Equity of Yierkang Bio, Officially Entering The Collagen Industry
On April 15, Bloomage Bio and China Coal Geology Group Co., Ltd. formally signed the "Property Rights Transaction Contract" to acquire 51% of Beijing Yierkang Bioengineering Co., Ltd. Equity, officially entered the collagen industry.
Yierkang Bio is located in the National New Media Industry Base in Daxing District, Beijing. It is a national high-tech enterprise with 17 registered patents and 78 on-the-job employees. The company has been deeply engaged in collagen medical terminal products for many years. The main products that are mainly engaged in and fully promoted and sold are collagen sponge and artificial bone.
After more than 20 years of development, Yierkang Bio has realized the whole chain layout from R&D, production to sales. It is a high-tech biotechnology enterprise with complete qualifications, good assets and orderly organization. The company is currently operating in good condition. From January to November in 2019, 2020 and 2021, it achieved revenue of 87.2525 million yuan, 79.2850 million yuan and 75.6798 million yuan respectively; net profit was 24.8065 million yuan, 10.9706 million yuan and 13.0914 million yuan. As of November 30, 2021, the company's total assets were 113 million yuan.
As a world-renowned biotechnology company and bioactive material company, Bloomage Bio mainly focuses on the development and industrial application of functional sugars, proteins, peptides, amino acids, nucleotides, natural active compounds and other bioactive substances that are beneficial to life and health. . Among them, in the field of hyaluronic acid, Bloomage Bio is currently the world's largest hyaluronic acid R&D, production and sales company, accounting for 43% of the global hyaluronic acid market share.
Collagen and hyaluronic acid are both important substances widely distributed in the human body, and both belong to biological materials with a wide range of applications.
After this equity acquisition, Yierkang Bio will become a holding subsidiary of Bloomage Bio, and the company will actively carry out business integration and coordinated development with Yierkang Bio, so as to enhance the market competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities of Yierkang Bio.
In addition, collagen will become another core substance of Bloomage Bio, enriching the company's bioactive product pipeline and providing strong support for the sustainable development of the company's future business. The hospital admission products such as collagen sponge and artificial bone, which are the main products of Yierkang Bio, can further enrich the company's existing medical terminal product pipeline, form a good medical terminal product matrix, and have a multi-department layout.
