Hainan will build a green intelligent water network to realize the integration

Hainan will build an interconnected, interoperable, mutually adjustable and complementary green intelligent water network. By 2025, the water quality of functional water will reach the standard rate of 95%, and that of centralized drinking water sources will reach the standard of 100%. By 2035, the integration of urban and rural water services will be fully realized, and the popularization rate of rural tap water and the water supply rate of centralized water supply projects will be more than 95%. This is what Hainan Daily reporter learned from the press conference of Hainan Water Network Construction Planning (hereinafter referred to as "Water Network Planning") held in Haikou on August 15.

"Water Network Planning"unifies the whole island as a big city. According to a chess game, a network layout, a platform management, water resources, water disasters, water environment and water ecology, it insists on the whole chain planning of the whole process of water supply, water supply, drainage and sewage, and gives full play to it. The advantage of water integration is to design a safe, ecological, efficient and intelligent island-type integrated three-dimensional water network, which integrates engineering network, management network and information network. Wang Qiang, director of the provincial water affairs department, said that through the implementation of the Water Network Planning, about 1 billion cubic meters of water will be added, 37.444 million people will be protected and 23.8 million mu of protected area will be added. The flood control standards of major cities and towns in the province basically meet the national standards.

According to the "Water Network Planning", from 2020 to 2025, eight large and medium-sized irrigation districts will be constructed in our province, including Niululing Irrigation District and Tianjiaotan Irrigation District; 39 large and medium-sized irrigation districts, such as Songtao, Daguangba and Nanfu, will be continued; 4459 small and medium-sized irrigation districts will be built; 211,000 mu,000 mu of new irrigation area will be added and 490,000 mu of improved irrigation area will be carried out simultaneously; Reform of farmland water conservancy operation and management system, promote comprehensive reform of agricultural water price, and accelerate the implementation of property rights system reform of farmland water conservancy projects.

In terms of major projects, our province will plan and construct Maiwan Water Conservancy Project, Nandu River Diversion Project, Hongling Irrigation Area Project, Tianjiaotan Water Conservancy Project, Qiongxi Water Supply Project, Changhua River Water Resources Allocation Project, Niululing Irrigation Area, Maiwan Irrigation Area, Baoling Reservoir and Water Supply Project, and "Three Big Rivers" Aquatic Engineering. Ecological civilization construction and comprehensive harnessing project, Wenchang flood prevention, moisture-proof and waterlogging comprehensive harnessing project, Qiongxi "five rivers and one lake" water ecological civilization construction and comprehensive harnessing project, Haikou Sanya urban inland river ecological restoration and comprehensive harnessing project and other 13 major projects.
