Recently, the key project of the national petrochemical industry planning and layout - Shenghong refining and chemical integration project was successfully put into operation in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, marking the official operation of the single largest refining and chemical integration project in my country, which will import some basic chemical raw materials in China The amount is reduced by about 10%.

 

The Shenghong refining and chemical integration project with a total investment of 67.7 billion is located in Xuwei New District, Lianyungang, Jiangsu, with an annual crude oil processing capacity of 16 million tons. The localization rate of the core equipment of the project has reached more than 90%, breaking many records such as the largest diameter column, the heaviest single fixed bed reactor, the largest atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit and the cracking furnace of the same type of projects in China.

 

The project adopts the world's leading technology to build a high-end petrochemical industry chain, "eats and squeezes" crude oil, and achieves a large proportion from about 50% to more than 70% in the structure of aromatic hydrocarbons, olefins and other chemical products that are in short supply in my country. The magnitude of the leap has reduced my country's imports of basic chemical raw materials such as paraxylene by about 10%.

Compared with traditional refining and chemical enterprises, Shenghong Refinery has obvious advantages in scale and product structure. Its single-line scale reaches 16 million tons, and it has the largest atmospheric and vacuum equipment in China, which can effectively reduce unit energy consumption and improve equipment efficiency. Demonstrates strong cost competitiveness; at the same time, after the refining and chemical project is put into operation, the basic raw materials such as propane, vinyl acetate and acetone produced by Shenghong refining and chemical industry are continuously transported to Sierbang to produce high value-added photovoltaic grade EVA resin , acrylonitrile, MMA (methyl methacrylate) and other new energy materials; the product p-xylene is supplied to downstream Honggang Petrochemical for the production and research and development of new polyester materials; the by-product n-butane can be used to produce PBAT degradable plastics, Assisting the construction of Shenghong's million-ton green degradable material project, the advantages of circular interconnected industrial clusters continue to emerge.

 

Miao Hangen, chairman and general manager, said in response to investors' questions that after Shenghong's large refining and chemical project is put into operation, it will form a whole industrial chain layout from "a drop of oil to a thread", and at the same time quickly cut into the fields of new energy and new materials, Forming an industrial matrix of "refining + polyester + new materials", and building a unique domestic industrial pattern of "oil head, gas head, and coal head", which will lay a solid foundation for Shenghong's cross-cycle and anti-cycle development path At the same time, the large-scale and low-cost supply of bulk raw materials formed by advanced production capacity is bound to effectively reduce the production cost downstream of the company's industrial chain.

 

Data show that last year, the output of new chemical materials in my country was about 29 million tons, but the consumption was as high as about 40.5 million tons, with a shortfall of nearly 11.5 million tons, and the self-sufficiency rate of new chemical materials was only about 71%. In some key resin materials, special fibers, high-performance membrane materials, electronic chemicals and other fields, the problem of shortcomings is relatively prominent, which restricts the development of downstream high-end manufacturing.
