Sample Inspection of Food Safety before Mid-Autumn Festival in Bazhou District

ECHEMI 2019-09-10

food-sampling

The Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching. In order to ensure food safety during the festival and create a harmonious, safe and reassuring consumption environment, the Bazhou District Market Supervision Bureau has recently carried out a food safety sampling inspection. Up to now, 140 batches of food have been sampled.

This sampling inspection focused on the agricultural market, the urban consumption concentration area and the township, and focused on the moon cakes, pastries, liquor, local specialties and small catering, food stores, large and medium supermarkets selling bulk food, and the agricultural and trade markets selling edible agricultural products. It focused on the inspection of food additives, agricultural residues and veterinary residues. In addition to other toxic and harmful substances, we should strictly prevent the occurrence of problematic foods in the consumption chain.

At the same time of sampling inspection, it also focused on checking whether the licenses of the main body of food business were complete, whether the employees were undergoing physical examination, whether the system of checking and collecting tickets for purchase was strictly enforced, whether the food additives were used beyond the limits, and whether the requirements for rectification were put forward according to the situation of on-site inspection. The rectification is in place within the time limit. "We will make timely announcements about unqualified food, file lawsuits against enterprises operating unqualified food, and strictly investigate and deal with them to ensure food safety during festivals." The staff of the district market supervision bureau said.
