Egg prices continued to rise in Zhengzhou, pork prices rose significantly

According to the monitoring results of the market operation of the Municipal Business Bureau, last week (August 19-August 25), the market supply of necessities in our city was sufficient, and the market operation was generally stable. The price of pork rose relatively obviously, the price of vegetables and eggs rose and fell mutually, and the price of grain was mainly stable.
Vegetable wholesale price is mainly reduced
Last week, the average comprehensive wholesale price of vegetable in our city was 4.01 yuan/kg, a decrease of 5.42% annually. Eighteen kinds of vegetable under monitoring were "9-4-liter-5-level". Among them, beans, cucumbers, eggplants and other varieties led by 26.16%, 23.54% and 22.25% respectively; celery, tomatoes, potatoes and other varieties fell by 26.16%, 23.54% and 22.25% respectively. The price of lettuce, radish, onion, green pepper and balsam pear were all the same as last week. This week, vegetable prices overall showed a downward trend, high temperature, short vegetable growth cycle, more goods, there is a situation of oversupply, which directly led to the decline of most vegetable prices. Vegetable prices are expected to remain weak in the latter period. The retail price of eggs last week was 10.28 yuan/kg, 3.52% higher than that of the previous week. The average retail price of white striped chickens last week was 17.71 yuan/kg, a slight increase of 0.06%. Egg prices continue to rise, mainly because of climate and other factors, the overall supply of eggs is slightly tense. Recently, colleges and universities have been enrolled in succession, business over-sales promotion led to a marked improvement in terminal demand, traders are also more active in stock, it is expected that the overall price of eggs will continue to moderately increase in the short term.
Pork prices rose relatively significantly
Last week pork retail prices rose by 34.19 yuan/kg, a slight increase of 4.94%, of which fresh pork prices rose by 5.26%, lean meat prices rose by 4.7%. Since the outbreak of African swine plague last year, domestic pig production and supply have been greatly affected. In addition, due to the approaching Mid-Autumn Festival and the opening of school, the demand for pork has increased, and the price of pork is expected to rise in the near future. After the Mid-Autumn Festival and the peak period of demand for students after the beginning of school, the price of pork may fall.
The price of grain and oil is mainly stable
Last week's retail price of grain is 4.86 yuan/kg, a slight increase of 0.41%, of which the price of small packaged rice is 0.39%, the retail price of small packaged flour is 0.25%, and the price of barreled edible oil is the same as that of last week. Our city's grain and oil market is abundant in supply, stable in demand and little in price fluctuation. It is expected that grain and oil prices will remain stable in the later period.
