400 km per hour permanent magnet high speed motor for transnational trains

Zhongche Zhuzhou Electric Machinery Co. released the TQ-800 permanent magnet synchronous traction motor for 400 km/h high-speed EMU on July 17. This marks the first time that China's high-speed railway power set up a permanent magnet traction motor product technology platform with speed of 400 km per hour, filling the domestic technical gap, and laying a solid foundation for the upgrading of traction transmission technology in rail transit.
According to the introduction, compared with the traditional asynchronous traction motor, this "permanent magnet high-speed rail" motor has the comparative advantages of higher power density, higher efficiency, stronger environmental adaptability and lower life cycle cost. After experiencing "DC" and "AC", the traction technology of rail transit vehicles in the world is developing towards "permanent magnet" drive technology of version 3.0. The performance indicators of the permanent magnet synchronous traction motor have reached the international advanced level, and will be used to drive the key research and development project of our country, the 400 km/h transnational interconnected high-speed train.
