International oil prices turned around and plunged by about 6%

On September 17, Saudi energy minister Abdul Aziz Ben Salman said at a news conference that Saudi oil facilities reduced by drone attacks would be fully restored by the end of September. The market had expected a recovery period of several months.
The international crude oil market has just fallen, and the oil price, which has risen as Saudi Arabia's output has decreased, has turned the corner and plunged in the market. By September 17, light crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange had fallen $3.56, or 5.66%, to $59.34 a barrel. London Brent crude oil futures for November delivery fell $4.47, or 6.48%, to $64.55 a barrel.
Abdul Aziz said Saudi Arabia would restore lost production supplies by the end of September and use its abundant stockpiles to try to restore oil supplies to pre-attack levels at its oil facilities over the weekend. Saudi oil production will reach 9.89 million barrels a day in September and October, and this month Saudi Arabia will ensure adequate oil supply for its customers.
He said that Saudi Arabia had taken control of the losses in the past two days and that the reduction in production suffered by terrorist attacks had recovered by more than half. By the end of September, Saudi Arabia's crude oil production capacity will reach 11 million barrels a day and 12 million barrels a day by the end of November. The oil supply to the market will return to the level before the attacks on 14 September. Saudi Amy CEO Amin Nasser, who attended the conference, said the company was restoring refining capacity to its maximum capacity and had enough crude oil to supply the market. In addition, the attack will not prevent the Saudi Arabian Ami IPO, the company will continue to promote the listing plan according to market opportunities. In addition, the United States and other countries also indicated that they might use strategic oil reserves. According to the International Energy Agency, by the end of June this year, commercial and government-controlled oil inventories in OECD member countries totaled 4.48 billion barrels, enough to meet the 92-Day consumption of the organization.
WTI crude oil futures closed up nearly 13% on September 16, the biggest one-day increase since December 2008, and Brent crude oil rebounded its biggest one-day increase since 1988, as UAVs attacked Saudi Arabia and the United States.
