APR Showcase to Highlight Plastics Recycling Innovation

The Association of Plastic Recyclers will again use its annual plastics recycling showcase to highlight accomplishments from the trade group’s members.
“This program was created to encourage innovators to address technical challenges facing plastic recyclers,” said John Standish, APR’s technical director, in a statement. “We recognize that innovation drives the growth of recycling and is essential to the success of the plastics recycling industry.”
The APR Plastics Recycling Showcase, now in its third year, will focus on recently commercialized innovations, as well as community engagement programs developed by APR member companies, the group said.
The deadline for nominations is Oct. 26. Those selected will be recognized during the group’s Technical Forum held in conjunction with the Plastics Recycling Conference on Feb. 19, 2018. A committee of APR members will select recipients.
