The Ministry of Science and Technology, together with relevant departments, is studying and deploying major projects of clean and efficient utilization of coal for 2030, aiming to achieve a net efficiency of coal-fired power generation exceeding 50% by 2030 in terms of clean coal combustion and efficient power generation, with an annual cumulative coal saving of 800 million tons of standard coal and CO2 emission reduction of about 2 billion tons; coal-fired generating units achieve peak shaving of 20%-100% and have a significant support capacity for grid-connected renewable energy consumption. Upgrade; Master a complete set of technologies for carbon capture, utilization and storage of millions of tons.

 

Next step will actively support the technology, equipment research and development, standard formulation and promotion of coal clean and efficient utilization related projects. Concerning improving policy safeguard measures, encouraging clean and efficient development and utilization of coal, formulating relevant preferential fiscal and taxation policies, and increasing preferential policies for clean and efficient development and utilization of high and new technologies in the fields of fiscal discount, enterprise income tax, value-added tax and finance. On the basis of implementing the current policies, the State Energy Administration will take full account of the CPPCC's suggestions and actively work with relevant units to improve and improve relevant systems, policies and measures.
