China's imports from participating countries increased by 8.8%

According to the latest statistics of Shanghai Customs, under the background of overall decline in imports, China's imports from the participating countries of the second China International Import Expo reached a counter trend growth. In the first three quarters, China's imports totaled 3.09 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.8% over the same period last year. It is reported that there are 64 participating countries in the second China International Import Expo, including 15 countries such as Russia and France. According to the data, in the first three quarters, there were 94000 enterprises with a record of state-owned imports, an increase of 6.3%. The import of new bonded trade mode of online shopping is growing rapidly. In the first three quarters, China imported 2.17 trillion yuan from participating countries in the form of general trade, an increase of 8.7%, accounting for 70% of China's total import value from participating countries in the same period. Among them, 8.24 billion yuan was imported under the mode of online purchase and bonded trade, which is a new business form of cross-border e-commerce, an increase of 40.3%.

 

In the first three quarters, 31 provinces in China have imported from participating countries. Among them, Beijing imported 60.318 billion yuan from participating countries, an increase of 12.8%, accounting for 19.5%; Guangdong and Shanghai imported 398.14 billion yuan and 373.29 billion yuan, an increase of 3% and 1.2%, accounting for 12.9% and 12.1% respectively. In terms of import commodities, in the first three quarters, China imported 596.15 billion yuan of crude oil from participating countries, an increase of 13.8%, accounting for 19.3%, which is the largest category of import commodities; the imports of integrated circuit, iron ore and concentrate were 183 billion yuan and 169.61 billion yuan, an increase of 18.5% and 31.7%, respectively. In the same period, soybean imports reached 141.68 billion yuan, down 4.4%. The import of meat, aquatic products, cosmetics and other consumer goods increased rapidly. In the first three quarters, China's total imports of consumer goods reached 320.52 billion yuan, an increase of 25.5%, accounting for 10.4%, and the proportion increased by 1.4 percentage points. Among them, 42.38 billion yuan was imported for meat and 41.32 billion yuan for aquatic products, up 58.9% and 66% respectively; 21.12 billion yuan for cosmetics, up 47.1%; 21.13 billion yuan for clothing, up 10.8%.
