China's foreign trade import and export increased by 2.4% in the first 10 months

According to customs statistics, in the first 10 months of this year, China's import and export of goods totaled 25.63 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.4% over the same period last year (the same below). Among them, export reached 13.99 trillion yuan, up 4.9%; import reached 11.64 trillion yuan, down 0.4%; and trade surplus reached 2.35 trillion yuan, up 42.3%. In October, China's total import and export value was 2.71 trillion yuan, down 0.5%. Among them, the export was 1.51 trillion yuan, up 2.1%; the import was 1.2 trillion yuan, down 3.5%; and the trade surplus was 301.28 billion yuan, up 33%. In the first 10 months, China's total import and export value was 3.74 trillion US dollars, down 2.5%. Among them, the export was $2.04 trillion, down 0.2%; the import was $1.7 trillion, down 5.1%; and the trade surplus was $340.29 billion, up 34.9%. In October, China's total import and export value was 383.05 billion US dollars, down 3.4%. Among them, the export was US $212.93 billion, down 0.9%; the import was US $170.12 billion, down 6.4%; and the trade surplus was US $42.81 billion, up 29.8%. General trade increased and its proportion increased. In the first 10 months, China's general trade import and export reached 15.19 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.8%, accounting for 59.3% of China's total foreign trade value, up 1.4 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, the export was 8.14 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.5%; the import was 7.05 trillion yuan, an increase of 0.7%; and the trade surplus was 1.09 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.2 times. In the same period, the import and export of processing trade reached 6.5 trillion yuan, down 4.9%, accounting for 25.3%, down 1.9 percentage points. Among them, the export was 4.13 trillion yuan, down 3%; the import was 2.37 trillion yuan, down 8%; the trade surplus was 1.76 trillion yuan, up 4.5%. In addition, China's import and export by bonded logistics reached 2.96 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.8%, accounting for 11.6% of China's total foreign trade value. Among them, the export was 985.08 billion yuan, an increase of 10%; the import was 1.98 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.2%.

's growth in imports and exports to the main markets such as the European Union and ASEAN is faster than that of the countries along the "one belt and one road". In the first 10 months, China EU trade totaled 3.98 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.3%, accounting for 15.5% of China's total foreign trade. Among them, exports to the EU reached 2.42 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.4%; imports from the EU reached 1.56 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.1%; and trade surplus with the EU reached 866.05 billion yuan, an increase of 21.4%. The total value of trade with ASEAN is 3.54 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.9%, accounting for 13.8% of China's total foreign trade value. Among them, exports to ASEAN reached 1.97 trillion yuan, an increase of 16.1%; imports from ASEAN reached 1.57 trillion yuan, an increase of 7%; and trade surplus with ASEAN reached 396.12 billion yuan, an increase of 75.4%. The total value of China US trade is 3.07 trillion yuan, down 10.6%, accounting for 12% of China's total foreign trade value. Among them, the export to the United States was 2.39 trillion yuan, down 6.8%; the import from the United States was 685.74 billion yuan, down 21.5%; the trade surplus with the United States was 1.7 trillion yuan, up 0.8%. The total value of China Japan trade is 1.77 trillion yuan, down 0.4%, accounting for 6.9% of China's total foreign trade value. Among them, the export to Japan was 807.87 billion yuan, up 2.8%; the import from Japan was 958.63 billion yuan, down 2.9%; the trade deficit with Japan was 150.76 billion yuan, down 25.1%. Over the same period, China's total imports and exports totaled 9.4% yuan for the countries along the belt and the road, an increase of 9.4%, higher than the national growth rate by 7 percentage points, accounting for 29.1% of the total value of our foreign trade, and the proportion increased by 1.9 percentage points.

The import and export of private enterprises grew rapidly, and their proportion increased. In the first 10 months, the import and export of private enterprises reached 10.87 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.3%, accounting for 42.4% of China's total foreign trade, 3 percentage points higher than that of the same period last year, becoming the largest foreign trade subject in China. Among them, export reached 7.18 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.8%, accounting for 51.3% of the total export value; import reached 3.69 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.8%, accounting for 31.7% of the total import value. Over the same period, the import and export of foreign-funded enterprises reached 10.32 trillion yuan, down 3.4%, accounting for 40.3% of China's total foreign trade value. Among them, export was 5.48 trillion yuan, down 1.5%; import was 4.84 trillion yuan, down 5.4%. In addition, the import and export of state-owned enterprises reached 4.34 trillion yuan, down 1%, accounting for 17% of China's total foreign trade value. Among them, export was 1.32 trillion yuan, down 6.1%; import was 3.02 trillion yuan, up 1.3%. The export of mechanical and electrical products and labor-intensive products kept growing. In the first 10 months, China's export of mechanical and electrical products reached 8.15 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.3%, accounting for 58.3% of the total export value. Among them, the export of electrical and electronic products reached 3.73 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.5%; the export of mechanical equipment reached 2.34 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.9%.

Over the same period, the export of clothing was 862.41 billion yuan, basically the same as that of last year; the export of textiles was 681.07 billion yuan, an increase of 5.5%; the export of furniture was 298.66 billion yuan, an increase of 6.2%; the export of footwear was 268.36 billion yuan, an increase of 5.4%; the export of plastic products was 268.08 billion yuan, an increase of 17%; the export of toys was 180.25 billion yuan, an increase of 32.2%; the export of luggage was 152.24 billion yuan, an increase of 5.1%; the total export of the seven categories of labor-intensive products was 271 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.1%, accounting for the export 19.4% of the total value. In addition, the export of steel was 55.09 million tons, down 5.8%; the export of automobiles was 1 million, up 3%. The import volume of crude oil, coal, natural gas and other commodities increased, the import volume of iron ore and soybean decreased, and the average import price of bulk commodities rose and fell. In the first 10 months, China imported 415 million tons of crude oil, up 10.5%, with an average import price of 3274.6 yuan per ton, down 3.6%; 276 million tons of coal, up 9.6%, with an average import price of 535.1 yuan per ton, down 7%; 77.71 million tons of natural gas, up 7.9%, with an average import price of 2984.8 yuan per ton, up 11.3%; 877 million tons of iron ore, down 1.6%, with an average import price of 659.3 yuan per ton, up 43.3%; 70.69 million tons of soybeans , down 8.1%, with an average import price of 2731.6 yuan per ton, down 2.9%; 3.09 million tons of plastic in primary shape, up 10.3%, with an average import price of 10000 yuan per ton, down 11.9%; 24.85 million tons of refined oil, down 9.2%, with an average import price of 3815.5 yuan per ton, down 2.6%; 9.78 million tons of steel, down 11.9%, with an average import price of 8084.1 yuan per ton, down 0.9%; 3.97 million tons of unwrought copper and copper materials, down 10% The average import price was 45100 yuan per ton, down 3.3%.
