India丨21,000 MT Second Indian Fertilizer shipment in two weeks
According to the Ministry of Agriculture,the second shipment of 21,000 MT of fertilizer received under the Indian CreditLine is scheduled to reach the country in the next two weeks.
The vessel carrying the first stock of44,000 MT of fertilizer received under Indian loan assistance reached thecountry last week.
The relevant fertilizer stock is currentlybeing distributed to farmers by Ceylon Fertilizer Company Ltd and Colombo CommercialFertilizer Company.
The Ministry of Agriculture said that thefuel crisis was a problem during the distribution of that fertilizer and themoney required for the purchase of the required fuel is to be given to theCeylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) today (18).
