Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry II Starts new PP/PE Plants
Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Co., Ltd. Second Phase (hereinafter as Shenhua Ningxia Coal II) has completed and started up its new PP and PE plants at its second CTO complex.
The facilities have been through a test run in Jul 2017 and then shut for a maintenance overall. On Sep 9, 2017, raw materials have been feed in and qualified ethylene products are achieved on Sep 12, qualified PE and PP have been achieved on Sep.
Based on an integrated coal-based chemical feedstock complex, Shenhua Ningxia Coal II is able to product 450kt/year HDPE or LLDPE swing, 600kt/year PP, and 64kt/year butadiene, 59kt/year mixed benzene, 130kt/year ammonium.
