The export volume of cosmetics in December was 428.3 million US dollars

Asia's exports to China, Japan, Hong Kong and other countries improved and continued to grow negatively & recently, South Korea's cosmetics exports to Hong Kong, once stagnant in China, showed a trend of improvement in December. &Lee seonhwa, a researcher of nbspeugene investment securities, based on the export data of Trade Statistics Service (trass) of Korea Institute of trade statistics from December 1 to 10, obtained the tentative value of December export of 428.03 million US dollars, an increase of 16.1% over the same period last year. &The export to China and Japan increased by 23.2% and 55.7% respectively, and the export situation centered on Asia continued to improve. It is worth noting that the cosmetics export to Hong Kong, China, has shrugged off the negative growth trend of the past nine months, with an increase of 16.7%. In contrast, exports to the United States fell 28.5%. &In terms of commodity categories, skin care products have increased, while cosmetics and facial masks have shown a negative trend. &The tentative value of nbsp's skin care exports in December was $464 million, up 19.7% year on year. According to the data, South Korea's exports to China, Japan and Hong Kong increased by 23.8%, 55.7% and 16.2% year-on-year respectively, while exports to the United States decreased by 11.1%. &In December, the provisional export value of nbsp cosmetics products was 27.4 million US dollars, down 19.2% year on year.

 

After November, December also showed a negative growth trend. &The export of cosmetics to the United States, which accounted for a large proportion of China, decreased by 73.3% year on year, which made the overall export of cosmetics fall into a downturn. Exports to Japan, China and Hong Kong increased by 55.4%, 7.3% and 31.1% year on year respectively. &The tentative value of nbsp's facial mask export in December was US $19.51 million, down 61.3% year on year. Since December last year, negative growth has continued for 13 consecutive months. &Among them, exports to China and Hong Kong fell by 60.8% and 78.6% year-on-year respectively, exports to the United States and Japan also fell by 57.8% and 66.2% year-on-year respectively, and exports to major countries declined as a whole. &Researcher nbsplee seonhwa said that although the export of cosmetics to the United States stagnated in December, the export of cosmetics to China and Japan continued to grow at a high speed, and the overall export also increased. In particular, the export to Hong Kong, China, shifted from the negative growth trend of the past nine months to the growth trend, which is worth affirming.
