Import of Textile Machinery Grows by 16.12 Percent in Pakistan
The country's import of textile machinery grew by 16.12 percent to $ 88.333 million in July-August 2018, official figure say. Increase in the textile machinery import now stands at $ 12.264 million in July-August 2018 from $ 76.069 million in July-August 2017, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics shows.
In August 2017, import of textile machinery went up by 51 percent or $ 15.868 million to $ 47.242 million from $ 31.374 million in August 2016. Import of construction and mining machinery scaled up by four percent or $ 2.707 million to $ 73.179 million in July-August 2018 from $ 70.472 million in July-August 2017.
