Trade fraud of falsely claiming overseas enterprises in cosmetics industry
The registration fee is required for purchasing products, and the information of local enterprises must be confirmed. Recently, there has been a trade fraud targeting South Korea, which wants to export overseas, which needs attention. According to KOTRA Paris trade center, a company registered with Alibaba and received an email from B company. The email indicates that its products are in global circulation, including sanitary products, hair care products, hair care products, baby care and other products. At present, there are French buyers who cannot be identified, and they put forward the supply quotation of 50 hair salons. After that, the French company C was introduced to purchase products and asked to pay 950 euros in the name of "overseas contract registration fee". People related to nbspA said that at the beginning, they introduced French buyers through Spanish consulting companies that contacted manufacturers and buyers, so they thought it was a real deal and were surprised to see that the contract required payment of overseas agent registration fees.
They ordered 500000 products with 100% advance payment and sent documents. The board of directors of their company unanimously approved the project. The KOTRA Paris Trade Center entrusted by company a was suspected to be a trade fraud, and confirmed the basic information of French customer C company, such as the company name, address, website, etc., but failed to find the legal person registration number. In addition, as the samples sent by company a have refused to receive the goods, they have not reached the French buyers, and the name of the owner of the account and the manager of the company requesting the payment is not the same. It explained that they were working in Africa to help AIDS refugees because they were NGOs and therefore had no business license, but it was confirmed that the enterprise did not exist. Kotra said that in order to prevent trade fraud, enterprise information must be confirmed. In particular, due to the fact that there are many cases of stealing the actual French business license number for counterfeiting, it is necessary to confirm whether the enterprise name and business license number are consistent.
