China丨LIER-Chemical to build a pilot plant for Chlorantraniliprole and Glufosinate-p

2022-09-30

On Sept 27, LIER-Chemical’s project of pilot test and supporting construction was publicized before approval.

LIER-Chemical plans to invest 60 million yuan in Xinqiao Industrial Park Sichuan province to build a pilot test and supporting construction project of pesticide technical.

The extended project located in Xinqiao Industrial Park, Guang’an Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan province. The main construction scale and content of the project: the construction of pesticide technical’s pilot test mainly includes the construction of a Chlorantraniliprole pilot test uint in the reserved plot of 600 mu, and a L-glufosinate-ammonium(Glufosinate-p) pilot test unit in the reserved plot of 100 mu in the north of LIER-Chemical’s old factory, with a production capacity of 300 T/A. At the same time, supporting the construction of raw materials warehouse, rainwater and emergency pool, pipe gallery bridge, road engineering, recirculating cooling water, electric Room, card room, control room and other related public auxiliary facilities.

The pilot test of Chlorantraniliprole in this project involves 2 routings. In route 1, the intermediate of 3-Bromo-1-(3-hloropyridin-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid (intermediate A)and 2-Amino-5-chloro-N,3-Dimethylbenzamide (intermediate B) were used as raw materials to prepare the Chlorantraniliprole pilot product by condensation with Methanesulfonyl chloride. Route 2 takes intermediate A and 2-Amino-5-chloro-3-methylbenzoic acid as raw materials under the action of Methanesulfonyl chloride to get Chlorantraniliprole pilot product. It carries out material balance and "three wastes" statistics for the two routes respectively. In addition, the route with large amounts of pollutants and many pollution factors is used for emission analysis and prediction of exhaust gas impact.
