Isopropanol Market Moved Up This Week (Nov 17-23, 2017)
Market Review:
The Chinese isopropanol market moved up this week. The supply of isopropanol was modest, and the demand remained firm.Producers tended to raise prices. Moreover, the raw materials’ prices rebounded, which supported the isopropanol market. Up to November 23, 2017, the closing prices for isopropanol in Jiangsu were in the range of RMB 7,300-7,350/mt, up RMB 75/mt or 1.03% from last week. The average price was RMB 7,275/mt, up RMB 85/mt.
Forecast:
The supply will be stable next week. The unit at Shandong Haili will continue to be shut, and the supply will be tight in Shandong. In East China, the supply will be flat. As for the supply in South China, it will be still tight though the imported goods will arrive at ports. Traders operate flexibly.
Amid the bullish sentiments, the isopropanol market is expected to inch up next week.
