Ulan Lithium Core is planned to invest in lithium power projects overseas

ECHEMI 2022-10-11

Recently, Ulan Lithium announced that it plans to invest in the construction of lithium battery projects in Malaysia. The total investment of the project is planned to be 280 million dollars, and a new 10GWh cylindrical lithium battery manufacturing project will be built. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to form an annual capacity of 10GWh for 21/46/50 types of lithium batteries, greatly enhance the company's ability to supply products to overseas customers, and lay a foundation for the company's global industrial layout.

It is reported that direct overseas export sales have accounted for about 50% of the total sales in the azure lithium battery business, and overseas capacity layout has become an urgent need for the company's future development. This is also a major background for its plan to invest and build factories overseas. Ulan Lithium said that the choice of establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary in Malaysia as the company's overseas lithium battery production base is conducive to enhancing its competitiveness in global services and better meeting the needs of the international market.
