New air separation unit of Linde Yantai was put into operation
On October 12, Linde announced that its new air separation unit for Wanhua Chemical Group was put into operation in Yantai, Shandong Province, supplying oxygen and nitrogen.
Previously, Linde had built 4 sets of air separation units for Wanhua Chemical's production base in Yantai. The operation of this unit marks the successful completion of the expansion project of Wanhua Chemical's comprehensive chemical production base in Shandong Yantai Chemical Industrial Park.
Linde said that in addition to supplying gas to Wanhua Chemical, Linde also provides related industrial gas products to other customers in Shandong Yantai Chemical Industrial Park. With Linde's advanced technology and professional engineering capabilities, these five air separation units can not only achieve flexible capacity configuration, but also improve gas supply reliability, improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions of the units.
Li Zhenmin, president of Linde Greater China, said: "The online operation of this project has further improved Linde's gas network concentration and gas supply reliability in Yantai, a rapidly developing region. At the same time, Linde's advanced technology helps to produce industrial gas more flexibly and efficiently. We will continue to fully support the further development of Wanhua Chemical and other customers in this region."
