Hypertensive cardiomyopathy
Hypertensive cardiomyopathy refers to abnormal changes in the left ventricular wall or left ventricular cavity caused by hypertension. In severe cases, it causes left ventricular hypertrophy, left heart cavity enlargement, and diastolic and systolic heart failure, a secondary cardiomyopathy.
