Traumatic myositis ossificans
Traumatic myositis ossificans refers to the ossification of muscles in a certain part due to repeated external force damage. In localized cases, bone is usually formed in the scar of the muscle. Traumatic myositis ossificans is also called localized myositis ossificans, which only shows a single lesion. It is more common before the age of 30. It often occurs after trauma.
