Vulvar vestibulitis
Vulvar vestibulitis is a chronic and persistent clinical syndrome. It is characterized by varying degrees of erythema in the vulvar vestibule. When the vestibule is touched or pressed, or when trying to enter the vaginal opening, there is localized severe pain. Patients often come to the doctor because of vulvar pain during sexual intercourse.
