Idiopathic epiretinal membrane
Idiopathic macular epiretinal membrane (IMEM) is an age-related proliferative disease characterized by the formation of macular epiretinal membrane and secondary changes caused by its contraction. Most patients are asymptomatic, while a few have slowly progressive visual impairment.
