This product is a semi-synthetic beta-lactamase inhibitor. It has strong antibacterial activity against Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis and Acinetobacter calcoaceticus. It has poor effects on other bacteria, but has strong and irreversible competitive inhibition of beta-lactamase produced by Staphylococcus aureus and most Gram-negative bacteria. The concentration of 2mg/L has a strong inhibitory effect on Richmond classification type II, III, IV and V beta-lactamase, but has a poor effect on type I beta-lactamase. It has a strong affinity for PBP2 of Acinetobacter calcoaceticus.
