Appearance

This product is a sugar-coated tablet, which appears white after removing the sugar coating.

Indication

It is mainly used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Large doses of this drug can reduce the reabsorption of urate by the renal tubules and promote urate excretion, so it can be used to treat acute gout.

Usage and Dosage

Oral treatment of arthritis: 0.1-0.2g each time, 3 times a day, after meals. The total daily amount should not exceed 0.8g. If there is no adverse reaction after one week, the condition improves and can continue to take it. The dosage should be reduced to the maintenance dose: 0.1-0.2g each time, once a day. Oral treatment of acute gout: initial dose 0.2-0.4g, then 0.1-0.2g every 6 hours. After the symptoms improve, reduce to 0.1g each time, three times a day, for three consecutive days.

Adverse Reactions

1. Common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal discomfort, water and sodium retention, edema, rash, etc.; 2. It may also cause diarrhea, dizziness, headache, and long-term high-dose gastrointestinal ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding; 3. Occasionally cause hepatitis, jaundice, nephritis, hematuria, exfoliative dermatitis, erythema multiforme, goiter, granulocytopenia and thrombocytopenia; 4. Blood counts should be checked after taking the drug for more than one week. If fever, sore throat, rash, jaundice and tarry stools occur, the drug should be discontinued immediately.

Precautions

It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to aspirin, have a history of ulcers, edema, hypertension, mental illness, epilepsy, bronchial asthma, heart disease, and impaired liver and kidney function.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Children are allergic to this product, so avoid using it. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women are prohibited. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients should use it with caution.

Drug Interactions

1. This product can inhibit the metabolism of coumarin anticoagulants and sulfonylurea hypoglycemic drugs, and can displace them from the plasma protein binding site, thereby significantly enhancing their effects and toxicity, and can cause hypoglycemia or bleeding symptoms. Combination with drugs that increase the activity of liver microsomal enzymes can reduce the elimination half-life of this drug; 2. Avoid combining with other drugs with bone marrow suppression; 3. This product combined with the diuretic triamterene can cause renal damage.
