Indication
Non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (type 2)
Usage and Dosage
It should be taken under the guidance of a physician, with an initial oral dose of 40-80 mg, 1-2 times a day, and then adjusted to 80-240 mg a day, divided into 2-3 doses, based on blood and urine sugar levels. After blood and urine sugar levels are controlled, the daily maintenance dose can be changed. Elderly patients should reduce the dose as appropriate.
Adverse Reactions
Occasionally there may be mild nausea, dizziness, rash, etc.
Precautions
Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women. Contraindicated in patients with severe liver or kidney failure.

Drug Interactions
When used in combination with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (especially salicylates), sulfonamide antibiotics, coumarin anticoagulants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, beta-receptor blockers, benzodiazepines, tetracycline, chloramphenicol, dicyclohexetine, clofibrate, ethanol and other drugs, the dosage should be reduced to avoid hypoglycemia.
