Function and Efficacy

The nutrients contained in this product are similar to those in normal human diet and are non-toxic to the human body (see the inner package insert for details).

Appearance

This product is a light yellow to yellowish brown emulsion suspension with a slightly sweet taste. After long-term storage, a fat layer will separate out from the upper layer of the liquid and a small amount of precipitation will appear in the lower layer. A small amount of adhesion to the wall is allowed after shaking.

Indication

This product is suitable for patients who have partial gastrointestinal function but are unable or unwilling to eat sufficient regular food to meet the body's nutritional needs and need to control blood sugar levels. It is mainly suitable for diabetic patients.

Usage and Dosage

Oral or tube feeding. When feeding by tube, if the bottle cap is a crown cap, first remove the crown cap, insert the special rubber stopper, and insert the infusion catheter; if the bottle cap is an infusion bottle cap, directly insert the infusion catheter. Before connecting, insert a feeding tube into the stomach, duodenum or upper part of the jejunum. The normal drip rate is 100-125 ml per hour (the drip rate should be slow at the beginning), and the dosage is determined by the doctor's prescription according to the patient's needs. 1. For general patients, 2000kcal (4 bottles) per day can meet the body's needs for nutrients. 2. For patients with high metabolism (burns, multiple trauma), 4000kcal (8 bottles) can be used per day to adapt to the body's increased energy needs, or products with an energy density of 1.5kcal/ml can be used. 3. Adverse Reactions

Using Kangquanli may cause gastrointestinal discomfort such as diarrhea and abdominal pain.

Precautions

1. It is contraindicated for patients with complete gastrointestinal failure; 2. It is contraindicated for patients with complete gastrointestinal obstruction; 3. It is contraindicated for patients with fructose intolerance; 4. It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to any component of this product; 5. It is contraindicated for patients with congenital metabolic disorders to any component of this product; 6. It is contraindicated for patients with severe intra-abdominal infection (severe intra-abdominal sepsis); 7. It is contraindicated for patients with intractable diarrhea and other conditions who require intestinal rest treatment; 8. It is contraindicated for patients who cannot ingest dietary fiber; 9. It is contraindicated for infants under 1 year old; it should be used with caution in children aged 1-6 years.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Contraindicated for infants under 1 year old; Use with caution for children aged 1-6 years. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: No research has been conducted and no reliable references are available. Precautions for the elderly: Kangquanli is an enteral nutrition drug and can be used for elderly patients.

Drug Interactions

This product should not be mixed with other drugs to avoid changes in its stability due to changes in its physical and chemical properties.
