Schisandrae Chinensis, the active ingredient in the Magnoliaceae plant Schisandrae Chinensis, has the effect of rapidly reducing serum alanine aminotransferase. The enzyme-lowering mechanism of Schisandrae Chinensis has been shown in animal experiments that the active ingredients contained in it have a protective effect on liver damage caused by chemical toxins, promote liver anabolism, and thus enhance the liver's detoxification ability. Schisandrae Chinensis has a protective effect on liver cells.
