Sulfathiazole ointment
Function and Efficacy
It can inhibit bacterial dihydrofolate synthase, hinder bacterial folic acid synthesis, and inhibit bacterial growth and reproduction. It has antibacterial effects on hemolytic streptococci, pneumoniae, gonococci, staphylococci, meningococci, Escherichia coli and Shigella dysenteriae.

Appearance
This product is a white ointment with an ointment base.
Indication
Used for carbuncles and furunculosis caused by sensitive bacteria.
Usage and Dosage
For topical use, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area or follow the doctor's advice
Adverse Reactions
1. Occasionally, there may be hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, granulocytopenia and allergic purpura. In severe cases, exfoliative dermatitis may occur. 2. There may be adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, rash, and drug fever.
Precautions
1. Patients who are allergic to sulfonamides are contraindicated. 2. Patients with severe liver and kidney damage are contraindicated.
