Alprostadil Injection
Function and Efficacy
This product is an intravenous alprostadil preparation with lipid microspheres as drug carriers. Due to the encapsulation of lipid microspheres, alprostadil is not easy to be inactivated. In addition, this product has the targeting characteristics of being easily distributed to damaged blood vessels, thereby exerting the effects of this product in dilating blood vessels and inhibiting platelet aggregation.

This product is a white milky liquid.
Indication
Treat limb ulcers caused by chronic arterial occlusive disease (thromboangiitis obliterans, arteriosclerosis obliterans) and limb rest pain caused by microvascular circulatory disorders, and improve cardiovascular and cerebrovascular microcirculatory disorders. Antithrombotic therapy after organ transplantation to inhibit thrombosis in transplanted blood vessels. Patent ductus arteriosus in children with congenital heart disease is used to relieve hypoxemia and maintain ductal blood flow to wait for the opportunity for surgical treatment.
Usage and Dosage
For adults, once a day, 1-2 ml (alprostadil 5-10 μg) + 10 ml normal saline (or 5% glucose) intravenously or directly into a small pot.
Adverse Reactions
1. Shock: Shock may occur occasionally. Please pay attention to observation. If any abnormality is found, stop the drug immediately and take appropriate measures. 2. Injection site: Sometimes there may be pain and redness in the blood vessels, and sometimes hardness and itching. 3. Circulatory system: Sometimes there may be worsening of heart failure, pulmonary edema, chest tightness, and decreased blood pressure. If these symptoms occur, stop the drug immediately. In addition, redness and vasculitis may occur occasionally, and facial flushing and palpitations may occur occasionally. 4. Digestive system: Sometimes there may be diarrhea, abdominal distension, and discomfort, and occasionally abdominal pain, loss of appetite, vomiting, and constipation. 5. Liver: Occasionally there may be abnormal liver function such as increased GOT and GPT. 6. Mental and nervous system: Sometimes there may be dizziness, headache, fever, fatigue, and occasionally numbness. 7. Skin: Sometimes there may be rash or itching, and occasionally there may be urticaria. 8. Blood system: Occasionally there may be an increase in eosinophils and a decrease in leukocytes. 9. Others: Occasionally there may be decreased vision, swelling in the mouth, hair loss, pain in the limbs, edema, fever, and discomfort.
Precautions
1. Patients with severe heart failure (heart failure). 2. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. 3. Patients with a history of allergic reaction to this preparation.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: For children with congenital heart disease, the recommended infusion rate is 5ng/kg/min. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Precautions for the elderly: No special instructions, please follow the doctor's advice.
Drug Interactions
Avoid mixing with plasma expanders (dextran, gelatin preparations, etc.).
