Bismuth Potassium Citrate Granules
Function and Efficacy
The main ingredient of this product is bismuth tripotassium dicitrate. In the acidic environment of the stomach, it forms a diffuse protective layer covering the ulcer surface, preventing gastric acid, enzymes and food from invading the ulcer. This product can also reduce the activity of pepsin, increase mucin secretion, and promote the release of prostaglandins from the mucosa, thereby protecting the gastric mucosa. In addition, this product has a killing effect on Helicobacter pylori (HP), thus promoting the healing of gastritis.
Ingredients
Each bag of this product contains 0.3g of potassium citrate bismuth (equivalent to 0.11g of bismuth). Excipients: mannitol, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose

Appearance
This product is white to light yellow granules; slightly sweet taste.
Indication
Used for chronic gastritis and to relieve stomach pain, heartburn and acid reflux caused by excessive stomach acid.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, take with 30-50 ml warm water. Adults take 1 bag at a time, 4 times a day, the first 3 times half an hour before meals, the fourth time 2 hours after dinner; or twice a day, 2 bags each morning and evening.
Adverse Reactions
During medication, there may be an ammonia smell in the mouth and the tongue coating may turn gray-black, which will disappear on its own after stopping the medication; nausea and constipation may occasionally occur.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this drug. 2. It is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women. 3. It is contraindicated for those with severe renal insufficiency.

Drug Interactions
1. Milk and antacids can interfere with the effect of this product and should not be taken at the same time. 2. Taking it with tetracycline will affect the latter's absorption. 3.
