Function and Efficacy
This product has analgesic, sedative, hypnotic and tranquilizing effects. Its analgesic effect is weaker than pethidine, but stronger than general antipyretic analgesics. It has no respiratory depressant effect at therapeutic doses and does not cause gastrointestinal smooth muscle spasm. It has better effects on chronic persistent pain and dull visceral pain, but poorer effects on acute sharp pain (such as postoperative pain, traumatic pain, etc.) and advanced cancer pain. While producing analgesic effects, it can cause sedation and hypnosis. The mechanism of action of this product has yet to be elucidated, and it may be related to inhibiting the ascending activation system of the brainstem reticular formation and blocking the function of dopamine receptors in the brain. The therapeutic dose is non-addictive.

Indication
Used for headaches, menstrual pain and to help sleep, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Oral. For analgesia, adults take 60-120 mg (2-4 tablets) at a time, 3-4 times a day. For sleep aid, adults take 30-90 mg (1-3 tablets) at a time, before bedtime.
Adverse Reactions
Adverse reactions are mild at commonly used doses, and long-term use does not cause addiction. When used for analgesia, drowsiness, occasional dizziness, fatigue, nausea, and extrapyramidal symptoms may occur.
