Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Due to the relatively large body surface area of children, it is easy to increase the systemic absorption of drugs. When using this product, the sensitivity to adrenocortical hormone suppression and exogenous corticosteroid drugs is greater than that of adults. It has been reported that children have adverse reactions such as hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) function suppression, Cushing's syndrome, linear growth inhibition, delayed weight gain and intracranial hypertension when using local corticosteroid drugs. Adrenal suppression is manifested by low plasma adrenaline levels and disappearance of ACTH stress response. Intracranial hypertension is manifested by forehead protrusion, headache and bilateral papilledema. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: There is no safety research data for this product for pregnant women. Pregnant women should consider the pros and cons of medication when using this product. If this product must be used, it is required not to use it for a long time or over a large area. It is not clear whether the topical use of corticosteroids increases the detectable amount of systemic absorption and excretion from breast milk. If lactating women use this product, they should stop taking the drug or stop breastfeeding. Precautions for the elderly: There is currently a lack of detailed research data.
