Function and Efficacy
This product is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug that can highly selectively inhibit fungal squalene epoxidase, block the squalene epoxidation reaction during the formation of fungal cell membranes, and interfere with the early biosynthesis of fungal sterols, thereby inhibiting and killing fungi. Appearance
This product is a capsule, and the contents are white or off-white granules and powder.
Indication
It is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with chronic hepatitis B with elevated alanine aminotransferase [ALT], viral activity and replication, and compensated liver function.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration. Adults take 0.1g (one tablet) once a day. (See the instructions inside the package for details)
Adverse Reactions
The various serious adverse events reported with the use of lamivudine are also described in the Warnings and Precautions (lactic acidosis and severe liver enlargement with steatosis, exacerbation of hepatitis B after treatment, pancreatitis, and the emergence of viral mutations associated with decreased drug sensitivity and reduced response to treatment). Clinical studies conducted in patients with chronic hepatitis B have shown that lamivudine is well tolerated by most patients. The incidence of most adverse events was similar in patients in the lamivudine and placebo groups (see the table below for details). The most common adverse events were malaise and fatigue, respiratory tract infection, headache, abdominal discomfort and pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Some adverse events (incidence ≥5%) that occurred during treatment in 3 placebo-controlled clinical trials in adults (see the package insert for details)
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to lamivudine or any other ingredients in the preparation. 2. It is used with caution in lactating women.
