Oxaprozin tablets in box

This product belongs to the propionic acid class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. It inhibits the biosynthesis of prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase. The efficacy of this product is relatively long-lasting. Acute toxicity: The LD of mice by oral administration is 1342 mg/kg, and the intraperitoneal injection is 342 mg/kg. Rats were given oral administration of 25-400 mg/(kg·day) for six months. The high-dose group had inhibition of weight gain and gastrointestinal reactions, mild anemia, hepatocyte enlargement, and renal toxicity. The maximum non-toxic dose is 25 mg/(kg·day). Dogs were given oral administration of 6.4-40 mg/(kg·day) for six months. The high-dose group caused mild anemia and gastrointestinal reactions. The maximum non-toxic dose is 6.4 mg/(kg·day).

Oxaprozin

This product is white tablets.

It is suitable for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, periarthritis of shoulder, cervical shoulder and wrist syndrome, gout, and post-traumatic and post-operative analgesia.

Oral administration, 0.2-0.4g (1-2 tablets) at a time, once a day, for more than 1 week or as directed by a doctor, after meals, the maximum dose is 0.6g (3 tablets) per day.

The main symptoms are digestive tract symptoms, including stomach pain, stomach discomfort, loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, thirst and stomatitis, with an incidence of about 3% to 5%. Most patients can tolerate the drug without stopping the drug or taking symptomatic drugs. Less common symptoms are dizziness, headache, drowsiness, tinnitus and convulsions, and transient liver function abnormalities.

Contraindicated for the treatment of perioperative pain during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). 4. Patients with active peptic ulcers/bleeding, or patients with recurrent ulcers/bleeding in the past. 6. Patients with severe heart failure.

Precautions for children: Forbidden. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Forbidden. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients are prone to adverse reactions due to decreased liver and kidney function, so they should be used with caution or in a reduced dosage.

(1) The combination of this product and aspirin may increase the toxicity of aspirin because this product can replace salicylates bound to plasma proteins. (2) In the elderly and those with decreased renal function, it will reduce the clearance rate of digoxin, increase the blood concentration of the drug and increase its toxicity. (3) When used in large doses to treat tumors, it affects the excretion of methotrexate, increases the blood concentration of methotrexate and causes poisoning. (4) It affects the antihypertensive effect of antihypertensive drugs (angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors and beta-receptor inhibitor blockers). (5) It reduces the diuretic and sodium excretion effects of diuretics.
