Function and Efficacy
After intravenous injection, this product has a high first-pass clearance rate in the kidney and can quickly accumulate in the kidney, which is 6.6 times and 2.4 times the radioactivity in the liver and blood, respectively. Therefore, it can be used to detect changes in local renal blood perfusion.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product and its chemical name are: pertechnetium [99mTc] acid dicysteine.
Indication
This product can be used to diagnose renal blood perfusion and renal function changes caused by various kidney diseases and understand the patency of the urinary tract.
Usage and Dosage
For intravenous injection of renal imaging, the single dose for adults is 148~370MBq, and the dose for children is reduced accordingly. The maximum injection volume should not exceed 6ml.
