Appearance
This product is a capsule; the contents are white or off-white powder or granules.
Indication
1. Treatment of microangiopathy: diabetic microangiopathy - retinopathy and glomerulosclerosis (Children's syndrome). Non-diabetic microangiopathy - microangiopathy caused by idiopathic or long-term use of coumarin derivatives, cell growth inhibitors, oral contraceptives or other drugs; microcirculatory disorders associated with chronic organic diseases (such as hypertension, arteriosclerosis and cirrhosis). 2. Treatment of varicose vein syndrome: primary varicose veins - pain, heaviness of the lower limbs, muscle cramps, paresthesia, cyanosis of the hands and feet, purpuric dermatitis. Varicose vein status - chronic venous insufficiency, phlebitis and superficial thrombophlebitis, post-thrombotic syndrome, varicose ulcers, varicose veins of pregnancy. 3. Treatment of venous insufficiency associated with microcirculatory disorders: - hemorrhoidal syndrome. - varicose veins. 4. Adjunctive treatment of venous stripping and venous sclerotherapy: prevention of postoperative syndrome, edema and tissue infiltration.
Usage and Dosage
Oral: Subclinical retinopathy or preventive medication, 500 mg per day, taken in 1-2 times; non-proliferative retinopathy or occult retinopathy, 750-1500 mg per day, taken in 2-3 times; proliferative retinopathy, 1500-2000 mg per day, taken in 3-4 times. The course of treatment for mild cases is 1-3 months, for moderate cases is 6-12 months, and for severe cases is 1-2 years.
Adverse Reactions
This product has fewer adverse reactions, mainly gastrointestinal discomfort; followed by fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, and headache; there are also skin allergic reactions; occasionally there are fever, sweating, red and hot face, heart discomfort, etc.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for those with gastrointestinal dysfunction or allergies.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Not yet clear. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Since it is not clear whether calcium dobesilate passes the human placental barrier, the pros and cons of using this drug should be weighed. Calcium dobesilate can be present in trace amounts in breast milk (0.4µg/ml in breast milk after administration of 1500mg). For the sake of caution, the drug should be stopped or breastfeeding should be discontinued. Precautions for the elderly: Not yet clear.
