Triamcinolone acetonide neomycin patch
Function and Efficacy
The triamcinolone acetate in this product is an adrenal cortex hormone drug, which has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and antipruritic effects when used externally. It can eliminate fever, redness and swelling caused by local non-infectious inflammation. Neomycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. This product has a good effect on Staphylococcus (methicillin-sensitive strains) and Corynebacterium, and also has a good effect on Enterobacteriaceae such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, and Proteus. It has poor activity against various groups of streptococci, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Enterococci. Pseudomonas aeruginosa and anaerobic bacteria are resistant to this product. Bacteria have partial or complete cross-resistance to streptomycin, neomycin, kanamycin and gentamicin.
Ingredients
This product is a compound preparation, each piece (patch) of which contains not less than 16μg of triamcinolone acetonide acetate and not less than 90 units of neomycin sulfate.

Appearance
This product is an off-white flaky rubber paste.
Indication
It is used for local neurodermatitis and chronic eczema. It can also be used for small areas of psoriasis.
Usage and Dosage
For external use. Apply to the affected area.
Adverse Reactions
Long-term use may cause symptoms similar to hyperadrenocortical syndrome, manifested as hirsutism, acne, moon face, hypertension, osteoporosis, depression, and poor wound healing. Local skin atrophy, capillary dilation, pigmentation, and secondary infection may occur.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product. 2. It is contraindicated for use on broken skin. 3. It is contraindicated for use on acute and subacute inflammation and exudative erosive skin diseases. 4. It is not suitable for use on hairy areas or those who are allergic to rubber ointment.
