Sulfadiazine
Indication
It is used for the prevention and treatment of meningitis caused by meningococci, and can also be used for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, otitis media, furunculosis and puerperal fever. Sulfonamides are broad-spectrum antibacterial drugs, but since many common clinical pathogens are resistant to these drugs, they are only used for infections caused by sensitive bacteria and other sensitive pathogenic microorganisms.
Precautions
1. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to sulfonamide drugs; 2. It is contraindicated for pregnant women and lactating women; 3. It is contraindicated for infants under 2 months old; 4. It is contraindicated for those with poor liver and kidney function.
